About the Project

PPG Construction were appointed main contractor for this project, the project involved the demolition of the existing Cobblers Bar with the retention of the main facade. The project was challenging because of its town centre location and the tight program. It involved the complete rebuild of the Cobblers Bar complete with new kitchen and 7 en-suite bedrooms overhead that were incorporated into the existing Wyatt Hotel next door. It involved needle propping the existing gable and braking through to link up with the hotel. Total floor area was 550m2 and overall construction duration was 33 weeks.
